Fr. Joe is a Wisconsin (Packer & Badger) native, transplanted in DeWitt, MI. His pastoral experience is wide, first being ordained in the Evangelical Free Church of America and serving as Senior Pastor of three churches. After a sabbatical and walking the "Canterbury Trail", God led Joe into the Anglican tradition. Married to Susan, a first-grade teacher, they have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. Joe's interests include: being a veracious reader, year-round ice hockey player, avid road cyclist, and leading mission trips.
Fr. Samuel serves as the planting pastor of an Anglican Sudanese congregation that meets at 2 PM on Sunday's at CtK. He is completing work on a graduate degree in Social Work and is employed by Volunteers of America.
Shahbaz and his family moved to the United States in the Summer of 2015. He is from Pakistan and his wife Carrie was a Michigander teaching abroad. They have a young son. Shahbaz was ordained a deacon in the Spring of 2016 and is preparing for the priesthood.
CtK is part of the ADGL, a diocese in the Anglican Church of North America.
Our bishop is the Rt. Rev. Dr. Ron Jackson who oversees 55 churches in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Ontario, Canada. The ACNA has over 1,200 churches in the United States.
