Sacred Ancient-Future Worship

Worship is an action, activity, and attitude we bring before God. As we engage in worship, we remember that God is holy and worthy of our attention and reflection.   In our worship we seek to recognize God's presence and goodness that deepens our delight in Him, transforming the ways we think and live.

Our style is Ancient-Future, which includes blended music, a sacred liturgy that has spoken to God's people for generations, Scripture readings and listening to God's Word proclaimed in a clear and compelling way.  Each Sunday we share around the Lord's Table and receive the sacrament of communion.

"Our worship is about God's story changing

and shaping our story."

                                        ~ Robert Webber, author

CtK First-Timer and Nervous?

Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect.  Being unsure of what the dress, culture or even when to stand up and sit down can create anxious and self-conscious thoughts.   No need to worry.  Our people dress casually and some wear shorts in the summer.

Our worship bulletins include more than announcements. We provide the  full order of service:  responses, prayers, Creed and even Scripture Lessons.  They also have directions of when to sit, stand, or kneel.

We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at our 10 AM Sunday worship service. Our focus isn't on us, but rather worshipping God and experiencing His grace.

Teaching from Scripture

We believe that practical, relevant teaching is the catalyst for transformation in an individual's life. Scripture is inspired by God, completely accurate and our authority regarding Christian beliefs and the guide for Christian living.

We value Scripture—the Bible—as the basis for understanding who God is and how to orient our lives fully around Him. You can expect that each Sunday morning will include a set-aside time for hearing from Scripture, as well as practical teaching surrounding God's Word.
